Heh, New Jersey rules. Aside from that stretch of the turnpike that smells like raw sewage, we have:
Jets
Giants
Devils
Nets
Metrostars
World famous horse racing tracks
Legalized gambling in Atlantic City
And there's the Jersey Shore (Seaside Heights, Pt. Pleasant, Long Beach Island, Wildwood)
Weird NJ
The #2 commercial district in the country (Paramus, #1 is midtown Matthatan)
Great Adventure (home of the largest non-Disney theme park, and the tallest and fastest roller coaster)
Ft. Lee was the film capital during the silent era, everyone knows what "cliffhanger" means, did you know that the original "cliffhangers" were filmed on the famous Palisades overlooking NYC? Indeed, American film is New Jersey as much as it is California.
And we have the Pine Barrens and Ramapo Mountains, and with them the Pineys and Jackson Whites.
We also had two Presidents (Cleveland and Wilson), Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, Franco Harris, Shaquille O'Neal, Amos Alonzo Stagg, Joe Theismann, Mike Tyson, David Copperfield, Tom Cruise, Danny Devito, Jerry Lewis, Ray Liotta, Ethan Hawke, John Travolta, Frank Sinatra, James Feinmore Cooper, and Norman Schrwarztkopf.
New Jersey also has Camden, the most dangerous city in the states. We're hardcore!
