can't legalize until it's proven safe. can't build it until theres a viable model.

- The Sleeper - 10-01-2004

you can't legalize until it's proven safe? the only reason it's illegal is it's in the weed family, except much less potent.

- The Jays - 10-01-2004

don't they have like hemp necklaces and shit for sale, and those are legal. what's so illegal about burning all of those shitty fashion accessories to fuel my car?

- The Sleeper - 10-01-2004

it's illegal to commercially grow it.

- Arpikarhu - 10-01-2004

george washington was a hemp farmer. its illegal cause the oil lobby has lots of money to donate to candidates.

- The Jays - 10-02-2004

then its obvious, we must do absolutely nothing.

- Arpikarhu - 10-02-2004

i agree. entropy is the best policy

- HedCold - 10-02-2004

one draw back i see to hemp is how companies will go crazy with it and starting cutting down rain forests and other wood areas even more just to make room to grow it. i know how good hemp is in being able to grow in areas year after year and not needing much fertilizer, but that still doesn't mean anything when people are looking to make as much profit as possible

- Mad - 10-02-2004

Spoken like a true lobbyist for Big Oil.

my god! i never thought of that! its a good thing we dont chop down rain forests now, or drill for oil in protected areas, or run pipelines through alaskan wildlife refuges, or............

- Mad - 10-02-2004

How much money is paid out on land not grow on it?

A renewable energy source from a plant that requires a little to get a lot or continue searching for a finite one?

That's really tough choice.

- The Sleeper - 10-02-2004

soooo what's kerry's policy on hemp?

- HedCold - 10-02-2004

umm..i am for hemp, but i'm just saying thats the type of thing that usually gets overlooked until it starts actually happening

- Arpikarhu - 10-02-2004

whats odd is that it can be grown without THC. that eliminates any legalizing drug issues. proof that the oil industry fears it.

based upon your superficial and childlike understanding of candidates positions , i can't really say that this bothers me.
ok so you just told me you don't care, you showed me.

- Mad - 10-02-2004

Don't forget the pharmaceutical company's. Without their latest and greatest poison to sell, they got nothing over mother nature.
