I thought that was the whole point of the Survivor Series. Now its just the name of a really shitty PPV. And didnt it used to be 5 on 5 ? I remember they had one where it was 5 tag teams vs another 5. You had like 20 guys lined up all along the ropes all crowded and shit.

I remember that that was a rumor going around a few years ago, after Vince got the rights for all the old WCW/NWA, ECW, and I think AWA footage. I don't know if it was anything serious or just "wouldn't it be cool if...?" speculation. Maybe there were and are still plans, I don't follow anymore so I have no idea...
