Bathe her and bring her to me.

- GonzoStyle - 02-07-2003

like you wouldn't take her if she smelled like a jersey dump.

- Hey Ladi - 02-07-2003

Quote:Her beauty so illogical
The beast come gliding in
Hideous chameleon stripped down to her skin
Dance to the burning flame
Pleasure exhumes the pain
The night bursts into flame
Dance Helena... Dance

If I cut off your arms and cut off your legs
Would you still love me anyway?
There's a spot on the floor where your limbs used to be
And I close the door on my fantasies
Why don't you love me anyway?

Helena!

... It seems like everyone wants some generally accepted definition of what heaven and Hell are, yet they do not want the definition given out by organized religion. I'm sorry, but how else would we know or think about a heaven or Hell if it wasn't for organized religion?

Here is the defintion I have accepted and believe heaven and Hell to be, and just so happens to be the position of my Catholic teachers and local religious leaders.

Heaven is the reward for living a life according to God's will, and Hell is the punishment for not doing so.

Heaven and Hell are states of being. Heaven is the reward because you are in the presence of God for all eternity. To be in His presence is so beyond the greatest feeling in the world, so great that man cannot fathom, and no matter how great a sin might feel on Earth, it could never compare to being in the presence of God.

Hell is to be outside of the presence of God for all eternity. It's not burning flames, it's not a huge sin party of evil doers, it is emptiness. So empty that man cannot fathom. It is the inverse of what heaven is. And your state of being will be forever in pain over the fact that you will never be in His presence.

- GonzoStyle - 02-08-2003

Neither exists.

- LyricalGomez - 02-08-2003

I don't have to accept anything organised (key word here) religion says, religion and organised religion are two very different things, I can believe in God and in Jesus Christ without accepting the teachings of a Christian church.

- Hey Ladi - 02-08-2003

if you're talking religion, you're forgetting the fine print, as long as you turn back to God in the end, he'll forgive you, no minimum time limit

- GonzoStyle - 02-08-2003

Religion is all a mucky farce, believe whats in your heart and what you think is right.

The whole Jesus thing is as ass backwards as anything in history.

- LyricalGomez - 02-08-2003

I think actual religion isn't a bad thing, what I think is bad is that people couldn't accept this wild and independant thing, which is what religion was, something personal that couldn't be controlled. Organised Religion was and still is just a means of controlling that belief, when faith should be a private thing.

- The Jays - 02-08-2003

... if a person's belief is that there is no God , then there is no reason to ponder Heaven and Hell, because neither would exist.

- GonzoStyle - 02-08-2003

It wasn't meant in a serious fashion.

so are we having a BBQ or what, I got my special sauce brewin.
