Galt Wrote:Sir O, do you honestly think that Jeb Bush could manufacture the 500,000 votes that Bush is going to beat Kerry by (after counting absentee)?
Yes.

- GonzoStyle - 11-03-2004

I hope Bush wins because it will give great hope to the youth of america and teach them a great moral lesson.

No matter how much you fuck up, how much coke you snort, how much you distort the truth and how dumb you appear... you too can be a success and not even really try hard, as long as your father is an important man. So if your old man works for minimum wage at the coleco toy factory and brings home toys for dinner then just give it up and join the armed forces.

Bush was very supportive of Israel and Sharon. Maybe FL was possible if Kerry picked Lieberman.

- Gooch - 11-03-2004

had Kerry appealed more to Southerners...it would be over by now.

I don't think anyone could appeal more to the south than Bush, no one could be more redneck.

- Gooch - 11-03-2004

White House is excited and Karl Rove is declaring victory. Kerry headquarters is silent.

- Gooch - 11-03-2004

OHIO

Bush 1,991,934 52%
Kerry 1,838,852 48%
70% reported

- HedCold - 11-03-2004

how does boulder colorado usually vote, since they're a city? 0% of their precents reported so far and its still close there...

- Gooch - 11-03-2004

Arizona: Bush

- Galt - 11-03-2004

Had Kerry offered one iota detail of his "plan" that was going to magically create new jobs, capture bin ladin, pay down the debt, save social security, fully arm our troops, get the allies to commit to supporting our war efforts, and fix our intelligence, this would be a blowout for him.

This election should have been unlosable for Kerry. He's an atrocious candidate and deserves to lose.

- GonzoStyle - 11-03-2004

This is how skewed the networks are.

Fox:
Bush 210
Kerry 144

CNN
Bush 197
Kerry 188

MSNBC
Bush 207
Kerry 199

I gotta agree, this was basically the easiest election to win for anyone going up against Bush. The only reason its so close and Bush is lookin like hes gonna pull it out, is because Kerry ran probably the worst campaign in history.

Bush basically said and did nothing and wasn't pushed to defend his term and kerry didnt lay out anything in simple terms.

This election looked like a no brainer several months ago, it didnt matter who the dems nominated short of al sharpton, anyone coulda beat Bush.

- Gooch - 11-03-2004

I project Kerry with 266 Electoral votes.

Ohio falls to the presidential winner:

Bush 2,091,314 51% 0
Kerry 1,972,148 49%

74% reporting

so...i call Bush unless some Democratic pockets come thru in the last 26% in Ohio

fox news is just disgusting to watch, it really looks like they are trying to make it look as if Bush is basically playing the role of reagan and kerry is mondale.

Here in Sweden reader polls showing 75% wanted Kerry to win have been replaced by warnings to motorists to beware of leaping pedestrians. As a Brit would have loved to have seen the BBC coverage with Michael Moron, Gore Vidal and Sidney Blumenthal. Excuse me if have to go and practise my huge, great gloating, smug grin....... btw got odds of +325 (now -138) for Bush to win at ladbrokes.com earlier - Thank you so much Zogby.

FR has bush up 237-199.
