Japanese Pop Culture sounds like an awesome class really, but I experienced it first hand for about six months. It's really quite interesting over there. They probably don't mention Kawada vs. Misawa in class though...I am curious as to what they teach. Pop culture=movies/tv/music/sports/politics? Sorry to ask a potentially serious question.

Sorry to ask a potentially serious question.i think out of the 3 month course, maybe two days are related to modern day japanese pop culture. most of the course appeared to be related to a time period from the mid 19th century to the 1940's. when i signed up for the course, after qs told me it existed i figured it was going to be about the pop culture in japan from the past 50 years or so. its not, it was horrible.
so class with qs & hfm is over, but look forward to the sequel, Party w/ qs and hfm.

If you count the actual time spent taking classes, I'm graduating early.
If you don't, then yes, it took me 8 years.
