- The Sleeper - 02-19-2004

I hate online tests

- Splatterpunk - 02-19-2004

I bet Alkey's one of those in your face do it now types.

- GonzoStyle - 02-19-2004

Or do it now in your face type.

I am an ESTP or ESTJ depending on when I take it. I think I was an ESTJ the last time.

I = Introvert vs Extrovert (shy vs outgoing)
N = Intuitive vs Sensing (I don't recall what their difference is)
T = Thinking vs Feeling (logic vs women)
P = Perceiving vs Judging (I just know what all these stand for -- this post is really useless since I'm not giving much information here)

It's your predetermined preferences.
I = Introversion
N = Intuition
T = Thinking
P = Perceiving

Here is a simple Myers Brigg test...
http://www.kisa.ca/mbti/

INTP is Introverted, iNtuitive, Thinking, Perceiving

INTPs generally have the following traits:

Love theory and abstract ideas
Truth Seekers - they want to understand things by analyzing underlying principles and structures
Value knowledge and competence above all else
Have very high standards for performance, which they apply to themselves
Independent and original, possibly eccentric
Work best alone, and value autonomy
Have no desire to lead or follow
Dislike mundane detail
Not particularly interested in the practical application of their work
Creative and insightful
Future-oriented
Usually brilliant and ingenius
Trust their own insights and opinions above others
Live primarily inside their own minds, and may appear to be detached and uninvolved with other people

Can one of you IHOP's put up a fucking link to the fucking test?

- theDude - 02-19-2004

it's pretty interesting acutally, it just sorts out your ideal working or life conditions. How and where you best function.

- IrishAlkey - 02-19-2004

Thank you, Anthony.

- Splatterpunk - 02-19-2004

Alkey is clearly not research-oriented.

Can't help you there, I took it at work. Just do a google search for the Myers-Briggs Test

- Galt - 02-19-2004

which of the Myers-Briggs ratings includes "afraid of girls"

- The Sleeper - 02-19-2004

it's a combination of valuing autonomy and being detached and uninvolved with other people. that describes me to a tee.

- IrishAlkey - 02-19-2004

I got ESTP.

Maybe I should work for ESPN!

- Keyser Soze - 02-19-2004

this thread tangent leads here

- 2 tired 2 give N F - 02-19-2004

I think I got ESTJ before...I'm too lazy to take the damn thing again...it's like reading one of Jays' posts and it being interactive.
