specifics, bob

- The Jays - 08-09-2005

Well, after Jorge Posada threw out a stealing Scott Podsenik after getting on base with a bunt, Mussina struck out the next two batters, and then the Yankee batters faced El Duque for the first time. Jeter and Cano got hits taken from them by first a dive, then a wall smash, by Aaron Rowand, then Sheffield worked a walk, and then A-rod worked a 3-1 count for a pitch that found its way into deep left. Then El Duque hits Matsui's knee, and then Giambi worked a count for 10 pitches before smashing a broken bat ground out.

John McSherry had a heart attack and died in the first inning of opening day a few years ago.

That was certainly more "interesting"

- The Jays - 08-09-2005

I fucked your mom during the first inning of a Red Sox game, and that's wasn't quite as interesting

- The Jays - 08-22-2005
