with making sure i have all the album art set for my ipod/itunes. this new update just made everything worse, and the "Get album art" thing doesn't work for most albums :?

with my Zen, all I need to do is get a jpg of the cd cover and resize it to 400x400, save it as folder.jpg & keep it in the album folder. Thankfully most of the music I've been downloading already has it in there, but if I need it I just use goggle images or something.

Do you have any problems with the headphone jack on your Zen? I have to adjust it to get it to play right otherwise certain sound levels like vocals or lead guitar won't be heard. My brother has to re-soder the connection for me every couple of months to get it to work right. It happened to both of ours overtime and happened to one my friend bought straight out of the box.

my old zen never had that problem, but it was a well documented issue with that player. I managed to luck out but the player ended up dying on me this past spring (the screen went, so I couldnt see what I was playing, much less my selection plus it started making a weird clicking sound).

Luckilly Mrs. Goat bought a 5 year plan on it from BB so I returned it & got (painstakingly) one of those new nifty Zen Vision:M players - it's their Video Ipod, but much better since you dont need to convert video files and it doesnt give a fuck about DRM.

If you check the Zen forums on Creatrive.com you'll see loads of people bitching about the headphone jack - I dont think there was much you can do, save for replacing it or repairing it like you have been.

with itunes all you have to do is drag any picture to a box in the options screen for the song, and you can select more than one song to do it to at a time

whenever i download albums i always saw the album art was named "folder.jpg", now i know why

i love the new itunes.

especially the feature that allows you to flip through your album's like you're flipping through a CD rack.

Simple things, for simple minds.
