.NET IS WHERE IT'S AT NOW!!

- Ken'sPen - 10-16-2006

and we will debate in Galt like fashion,
I'm not sure what that means,
I am sure I will suffer numerous rebukes.

- Hoon - 10-16-2006

- GonzoStyle - 10-16-2006

Ken: no wmds arghhh bush stupid blah blah blah haliburton grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr iraq no link to terror blah blah blah bush is satan.

- Ken'sPen - 10-16-2006

No I really want to hear Galts current position...

Does he support the Dems?
or does he want the Reps to retain majority?

- GonzoStyle - 10-16-2006

wow, that was quick..

next topic.

- GonzoStyle - 10-16-2006

ronin is the message board version of "boom goes the dynamite".

- Ronin - 10-16-2006

you just figured that out?

- Galt - 10-16-2006

I want the democrats to regain control of both houses. I like when nothing gets done in the government. I don't want a single law to pass in the next two years. I don't want a single thing to get done. All the government does is fuck everything up.

I do not like a single option at president for the democrats.

I would choose Pataki or McCain over any one the democrats have put up.

I am way too busy today to put the effort required into this thread, if we are to truly talk in "galt like fashion". If we want to talk unsubstantiated opinions and headline soundbits (i.e. ken like fashion), that could be done with relative ease.

- Ken'sPen - 10-16-2006

no Mr. Galt,
I am gonna let you set the tone.

you said you like it when Government does nothing,
when has there been a Congress that has done less than the current one?

you just stated you would back Pataki as pres.
which has lessened the value of your opinion.

- GonzoStyle - 10-16-2006

I'm throwing my support behind Senator Joseph Biden, he's my man in 08!

- Ken'sPen - 10-16-2006

I've always liked Biden,

Wanna go door to door campaigning Gonzo?

- GonzoStyle - 10-16-2006

I think once word gets around about our endorsement, it's in the bag.

- GonzoStyle - 10-16-2006

p.s. i'm not going anywhere with you if you call me Gonzo in person.

- Ken'sPen - 10-16-2006

Let's work on good Biden Quotes,
so they can throw a
CDIH says "......."
in his ads.

- GonzoStyle - 10-16-2006

CDIH says: Vote Biden.. Cause he's not named Bush!

- Ken'sPen - 10-16-2006

yeah like that,
but better.

- Galt - 10-16-2006

Ken, for the love of God, will you please quantify your statements? What do you mean Congress has done nothing? Referring to what? The quantity, significance, or the quality of laws passed? Saying "nothing" certainly infers the the quantity or significantce of laws. I am guessing you are talking to the quality of the decisions. But that's not what you said. It would make your political threads much less tedious if you actually learned to convey your points effectively. And by "this" Congress, I assume you mean since Bush has been in office, and not, literally "this" congress as in the last two years.

For doing "nothing", they sure passed a bunch of laws, including declaring War, passing a $1.3T tax cut, signing the Terri Schiavo law in an emergency session, Patriot Act, No Child Left Behind, blah blah

If you read what I wrote, I said I want gridlock, I don't want laws passed. This Congress has passed many more than when Clinton was in office. The republicans were so streamlined and in control the Bush only just recently vetoed his first bill in 6 years. That's not a good thing: All republicans or all Democrats.

That you hate so many of the laws they passed, doesn't mean they didn't do anything, but that you disagree with what they've done.
