Office Conference Calls - Hoon - 12-27-2006

The best thing about them is when one of the parties thinks their phone is muted and it isn't and you hear them paying for the pizza they just ordered.

Teleconferences are reputation ied's!

- Keyser Soze - 12-27-2006

i'm convinced most of the people on the line are surfing the web, barely paying attention. i'm usually busy setting my fantasy football line up and checking injury reports.

- Hoon - 12-27-2006

I try to pay attention but the person doing the talking is usually the only person who knows what he's talking about. Yes, I said he because realisticly unless you're talking about how to drive horribly, a woman wouldn't be running the show.

- Keyser Soze - 12-27-2006

women on conference calls tend to spend their time correcting the other women or complain about them. the business world and high school are not much different, nothing really much changes.

only if you are working for a firm of glorified high schoolers. Sorry, its not true of everyplace. Depends on the quality of the managers and division.

- Hoon - 12-27-2006

no reputable outfit would ever hire me, so....

- Hoon - 12-27-2006

of course, my ramblings above do not include the likes of drusilla. she is an anomaly.

i agree, i'm referring to some of our clients. we get a glimpse into how many different fortune 50 companies really are, and some of them indeed have a very dysfunctional culture.

- Gooch - 12-27-2006

..thought it was a blanket statement.

- Hoon - 12-27-2006

i dig blanket statments.
they're all encompassing!

- Gooch - 12-27-2006

all part of your republican quilt of denial, my boy!

- Hoon - 12-27-2006

I'm not a republican. I'm a traditionalist!

- Gooch - 12-27-2006

Then bring back the Whig party!

- Keyser Soze - 12-27-2006

labels are for the weak minded.

- Gooch - 12-27-2006
