I am losing my job.
My company didn't even have the balls to tell us directly. I found out from articles online.

Sorry to hear Jack.
I don't think it's because they had no balls, rather, if they were to tell everyone at the same time "we're closing up shop, you are all losing your jobs", then you'd have a mass of people who didn't give a crap, not coming to work, stealing stuff, etc. It was a business decision to delay the news as long as possible.
The world needs more people like you, Jack. You will find a new job soon. You should totally steal stuff, tho. Maybe burn down the building.

my sister got laid off 12 hours before she was supposed to show up for work. 12 hours after she was told that her job was going to be safe for 3 months.
