first question
i want to get a webcam. which is a good cheap affordable one? can i get a good one for like 20 bucks or do i have to spend 40?

2nd question
in my add/remove programs section, there are a bunch of programs that i removed but are still listed there. is there a way to get rid of that.
also, some programs can't be removed due to missing files and such. is there something that fixes all that crap?

Ask Froy, he's an expert in this field.

I don't know about webcams (because I think they are gay), but... Add Remove Plus 2002 works to clean up some improperly uninstalled programs.

Although, a lot of times, you really need to remove partial programs manually, both from your folders, and from the registry. This is not an easy task.

The best thing I've used is Norton Utilities. You can download a free 30 day trial that is fully functional. Used it to fix my machine when it was running really slow due to a lot of improperly uninstalled crap and lots of crap in the registry. Cleans it all up and does a good defrag and disk check while your at it.

Norton Utilities is also great, didn't think about that. Add/Remove Plus is a really specialized application that may help this situation more, though.

Ok, about the webcam question. The best places to get them are Best Buy or Circuit City. They run all different prices. As far as getting a good one for 20? Good luck with that because you will probably end up getting one where you can barely make out your face. The cheaper ones also have less image rates per second. Jus shell out some more money and you will get a good one. There is no point in wasting 20 bucks because that is what you will end up doing.
