Anyone have this? I'm trying to access the "cheats" menu from the options, but it's greyed out. I've looked all over the net and can't figure out how to activate the cheats menu.

HELP! :lookatme:

- Jack - 11-15-2002

up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a, b, a, start.

- Maynard - 11-15-2002

Thats a nintendo code silly. :disappointed:

- Lord Magus - 11-15-2002

That's a CONTRA code!!

OK. Maynard.. there are no enterable cheats in Tony 3. (at least, not from the cheats menu) Cheats are unlocked as you complete pro careers (just like new Skaters and boards are), the cheats menu won't be accessable UNTIL you've unlocked at least 1 cheat. I THINK you get the first cheat after about 3-4 fully completed careers (all goals completed, all golds in competition (and maybe) all stat points found) though it might be sooner, or possibly later.

that's the konami code. it worked for more games other than contra i think.

- Maynard - 11-15-2002

WTF.....why do they put that menu up there then???

Where do I enter the codes like backdoor and shit like that??

always find the codes I need there. As a plus all of thier faqs, codes, ect... are presented in a plain black and white format for easy, quick printing should your pc be in another room. Cheats

- Lord Magus - 11-16-2002

No.. that's a CONTRA code.. it got used in OTHER Konami games.. but it first was, and always will be, Contra's 99 lives code.

Edit.. and May may.. the point behind the menu is so that after you actually UNLOCK stuff like moon physics, Slow Nic, and perfect balance, you can turn them on and off at will.
(BTW.. want mad score.. slow nic with moon gravity.. holy shit!!)

ummm it works in other games. therefore it's a universal konami code. that's why it's called...the konami code.

- Lord Magus - 11-16-2002

Hybrid my boy.. I was playing those games while you were still learning to tie your shoes... don't tell me what WE called that Damn code. I lived it.. you just read about it in EGM.

- Hybrid - 11-16-2002

i dont read EGM. i dont care that much.

- Lord Magus - 11-16-2002

Yet another reason you don't argue with me on the subject.. for you, it's a pasttime.. for me.. it's a way of life

not that I'm necessarily PROUD of that....

- Hybrid - 11-16-2002

Contra Code.

I'm old school. I've got a Vectrex. Wooooo.

- The Sleeper - 11-16-2002

fuck yea, contra beats the shit out of any of these shitty games out now.

- Hybrid - 11-16-2002

yea contra was great

operation C for game boy = crack X Heroin X 1412515

magus, its the konami code. it worked for contra and gradius, among others. nintendo power also frequently called it the konami code, and when super gradius came out, they even printed up something called "the new konami code" since if you did the old one, you blew up
