I am giving up

Jason Giambi
Derek Jeter
Trevor Hoffman

For

Alex Rodriguez
Manny Ramirez
Antonio Alfonseca

sure

- GonzoStyle - 03-28-2003

Ok can I get the opinion of someone who knows what they are talking about, like Galt.

What gonzo? Don't like the white boys?

- Hybrid - 03-28-2003

Undecided

- GonzoStyle - 03-28-2003

:disappointed: where's Galt!!!!

That wasn't meant for you hybrid old buddy, my gonzo senses told me that salsa boys post was about to come up.

It was just a pre-emptive strike.

- Galt - 03-28-2003

OMG Hell yes.

I can write a bunch on why you should, but some jackass just loves the Yankees.

- Keyser Soze - 03-28-2003

Dude, don't seem too eager, he will pull back. Trust me on that one.

- DGW - 03-28-2003

do it it in a heart beat
hoffman may not pitch at all this year
plus yer getting an extra finger in the deal

- GonzoStyle - 03-28-2003

exactly, I am willing to give up hoffman.

he wanted giambi and jeter for a rod and fuckin kotsay.

I counter offered and asked for manny and alfonseca for hoffman.

a couple saves are better than no saves.

Plus while I lose a 1st baseman, I land a 10 times better SS and a monster in the OF. My back up 1st baseman is Olerud & McGriff, not too bad considering.

I took the deal and am asking the commish to push it through.

- Hybrid - 03-28-2003

can i be the commish

- x-file - 05-08-2003

okay, need a little help or some feedback here. I was offered Berkman and Zito for Bonds. My OF are Burrell and Matsui. Not to bad if you include berkman who is starting to hit. I could definatley use zito, but is giving up bonds worth it?

this is a no-brainer and the fact that you have to ask suggests that you shouldnt play fantasy baseball. make this deal now!!!!

I asked before the season started, which was before Jeter injured himself and Giambi couldn't hit for shit. So it was a fair question, Manny isn't having a stellar year but he's doing better than Giambi and it's worth it just for A Rod alone.

Berkman is great but he is not "just below" bonds, that's an insult. It honestly depends on what kind of stats are considered in a league. If its a regular crappy yahoo league where walks aren't considered and it's just runs, hits, hr's and sb's then yeah.

berkman puts up awesome numbers. if he played in la or ny , he would be a huge star!
