I would have gone with the Hitler one instead. - diceisgod - 01-14-2004 Better - The Jays - 01-14-2004 Quote:I would have gone with the Hitler one instead. Yeah, cuz George Bush = Hitler. Right-o. - Galt - 01-14-2004 I say they are all stupid and dumb and will pass judgement on them without watching any. - Keyser Soze - 01-14-2004 no cause the hitler one is funny, Stevie Serious. - Black Lazerus - 01-14-2004 what hitler one? - GonzoStyle - 01-14-2004 It was taken down by now but basically it started off with still images of hitler on the screen. In the background was hitlers voice giving a speech with english subtitles on the screen, slowly the images of hitler morph into bush. Then you realize the english text below is a speech bush gave about declaring war in Iraq. Then they focus on still images of bush with the text still there as well as the sounds of hitler giving his speech so it's bush's face, hitlers voice, and the text is bush's declartion of war on iraq. Then it ends with "sound familiar" so basically they weren't comparing them as much personally as they were comparing Bush's invasion of Iraq and his reasons as similar to those Hitler used to annex austria for example before the war. - Keyser Soze - 01-14-2004 hysterical!!! - The Jays - 01-14-2004 The only time Hitler was ever a funny subject was in "The Producers". That's it. - Danked - 01-14-2004 What about Chaplin's "The Great Dictator?" - IrishAlkey - 01-14-2004 Charlie? - Velociti - 01-14-2004 these all don't explain how bush is going to win reelection by a landslide where are those ones? - The Sleeper - 01-14-2004 The Jays Wrote:The only time Hitler was ever a funny subject was in "The Producers". That's it.you have to be kidding me. Hitler is comedy gold. One of my favorite Conan bits ever was when they were talking about how Phillip Morris is doing anti-smoking ads now and they showed a few that they made. One had Hitler sitting in a room and one of his officers comes in and says "Cigarette Fuhrer?" to which Hitler swiftly replies "Nein!" and the annoncer says "Be like Hitler, Don't Smoke!". I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life. Also, the South Park episode where Cartman dressed as Hitler. Also, just about every other instance Hitler has been used comedically with the exception of TFEC. - HedCold - 01-14-2004 in seinfeld with mr pitt Edited By HedCold on 1074111270 - The Sleeper - 01-14-2004 Mr. Pitt - The Sleeper - 01-14-2004 The Mr. Show (i think) bit where jews can have their very own Hitler now to do all their chores. - Keyser Soze - 01-14-2004 pOWNED!!!11 - The Jays - 01-14-2004 Who? Certainly not I. - GonzoStyle - 01-14-2004 sleeper swooped in before me but I really do have to agree, the endless comedic offerings of hitler are almost endless. - The Sleeper - 01-14-2004 GonzoStyle Wrote:the endless comedic offerings of hitler are almost endless.so are they endless or are they almost endless? |
