The Iowa Caucus will be on tomorow on the Fox News Channel. The democrats will tell you why they should be president. I've watched most of the caucus's last year and they are usually entertaining and informative. You get to know the candidates issues better and sometimes its surprising at times.

It's too bad the two smokes won't be there though. Sharpton was pimp at these events, especially when bitch slappin Kucinich.

Can someone please explain to me how a caucus is different from a primary? I have heard all week about how a caucus is different but then when I ask someone why nobody seems to know

anyone can vote in a caucus; republican or democrat. You can only vote in a primary if you are registered to that party. Also, the talent competition

I can't wait to see Kerry in a bathing suit.

A primary is just like a standard general election: everyone votes for their favorite, the one with the most votes wins. A caucus I'm not 100% sure about, but I think it's an all-day event where there are a bunch of meetings around the state, with speeches from party representatives and such. Throughout the day as candidates are eliminated, people are allowed to switch their support to another if their guy didn't get enough support. At the end of the day, each caucus selects one delegate for one candidate, and the one with the most delegates in the state wins (in that sense, it's sort of like the electoral college).

Clark's not even there for Iowa. It's a four-way tie right now.

And is there a statistic on if someone wins Iowa, how they fair in the other states?

iowa is generally meaningless in the overall nominee picture.
