Remember "mathman" from Square One Television? He was like pac-man, but instead he ate numbers.

- Goatweed - 01-20-2004

fuck yes! and Mathnet which was like dragnet but they solved math cases. And that song "The Mathematics of Love" which has been stuck in my head for 15 years. that show ruled!

- Galt - 01-20-2004

Mathnet was awesome. I was kind of sweet on that chick.

- Goatweed - 01-20-2004

what channel was this show on?

- The Sleeper - 01-20-2004

I remember one episode really freaked me out cause one dude ripped off his face which was actually a mask and i got really really scared and I don't think I watched that show again.

- Galt - 01-20-2004

I was on the Karl Marx channel.

- Keyser Soze - 01-20-2004

i remember square one.

- Goatweed - 01-20-2004

I'm guessing this show was after my time.

- The Sleeper - 01-20-2004

I recently found a site that has clips from the show. I think they still show reruns on noggin or they used to or something.

Quote:It was produced by the Children's Television Workshop for PBS from 1987 to 1992

I was 15 when this went into production, so yeah - way after my time.

- Galt - 01-20-2004

I was 12. So what. It was as good as Seinfeld.

- The Sleeper - 01-20-2004

you are never too old to learn about math.

- Goatweed - 01-20-2004

at 15, I wasn't watching kids programming on PBS - in fact, I wasn't watching any programming on PBS.

I'm not knocking the show, I was just never saw it since I was older.

mathnet was that show? i watched it too and was just thinking about that episode where he pulled off the mask, but had no idea what it was called
