- Hawt Baux - 11-11-2004 It's on USA right now....apart from them editing it down and everything the people who made this movie really raped the shit out of the book. I remember it came out on my 17th birthday and my brother took me to see it cause we both like the Anne Rice books and we just sat in shock at how much they changed around to make it look and sound cooler for kids who had no clue that it was a book prior. The guy they got to play lestat has a horrible accent but atleast looks the part more than tom cruise did but still that can't save anything else that's going on here.
