Didn't happen in America so why is the case in US courts? So if I do as Roman's do in Rome, I will be sued in Rome NY???

It's not that, it's the State departments reasons for it. Oh no we have private business there so let's just look the other way. But then we'll use the horrible acts that Saddam does as a pretext for an invasion.

Yeah, we're just an evil empire. Good timing on the lawsuit-this would not have flown nearly as far as it will now if it had been filed pre-9/11. It's a fucking shame. :disappointed:

And if you read the article.
Quote:But under a U.S. law, foreign citizens are able to use U.S. courts to bring legal action against U.S. companies for alleged violations of international law.

I read and it's bullshit.
A company, overseas, hires a private security firm, yet the home office gets sued.

It was not a private firm. It was the Indonesisan military which we do send arms to.

GWB is merely the spokesman for corporate america , not a representative of the people. merely a powerful lobbyist
I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.
That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you. GonzoStyle Wrote:I pledge my undying love for Arpi, any retraction of this undying love is to be ignored. Nominated for," 2005 poster of the year", by 4 out of 6 mods! |
