When I was driving a few weeks back, I made it from 38th street to 91st street without hitting a red light!!!!!!

There's a few avenues you can do it on...I used to drive up Madison Avenue from 79th street, and made it to 125th before either slowing down or stopping for a light. Usually took about 5 minutes.

that's the beauty of the avenues. if you can hit a pace of 25 or 30 depending on the road, you can cruise right along without hitting a light. i used to make it home from the upper west side to queens in 15-20 minutes when i had a car. not at 7 on a week night though, that's pretty impressive
