Barry Bonds

Really gets on my nerves. I am a huge baseball history fan and this scumbag will probably break the most coveted record in sports, let alone baseball, and it annoys me.

The whole spectacle he tried to make about going to another team when everyone knew he was going right back to Giants. Annoying

yet he's gonna get 20 million bucks for being a part-time, part-time player.

Another reason why I would like him to die

Barry Bonds was my favorite player in baseball from about '88 until about 2 or 3 years ago.

Mine was Griffey, so sad....

Mine was fucking Lenny Dykstra. I look back now like, he was good, but those rookie cards of his that I stocked up on are probably worth less now.

I still love Griffey though, just sad to think what could have been, stats wise.

Big Al will hopefully stay healthy and fix this whole HR record thing in a few years.
I hold the dubious honor of being the only person never modded who has also never been to a party who in the past had a shared account with a vegetable reference that has had consensual sex with a woman who wasn't from the board that also knows what >) means and remembers the end of the golden age.

Big Al is probably going to be retiring in less than 10 years, given that he's already 35

The Phillies had a second baseman named Randy Ready and his nickname was "Spike". So, it was Spike and Nails. I brought home 2 baby chicks for a class project and I named them Spike and Nails after Ready and Dykstra.

When you are young, sports figures can be heroes. Nowadays, they can't. With what you learn about the business side of sports, steroids, and primadonna bullshit because of the amount of money they make, they are no longer what they were.
