Egypt is our biggest friend in the Arab world. They hate Israel but they are totally in bed with the US.

Just so long as Mubarak stays in power; I think Hosni's days are numbered, personally. The place has been under "emergency martial law" since Sadat was killed, and the Muslim Brotherhood has a pretty good following, considering they are an illegal organization in Egypt.

Not that they would be a major threat, but it certainly would make the whole situation less stable (as if it were stable to begin with...).
