Do you hide your computer porn?

I have porn on both computers, my work, and my home. My home computer I obviously don't hide because I don't give a shit. Besides, no one else uses it.

But my work computer, I have to hide it.

Have any of you been caught looking at porn at work? If so, what happened?

just put it in a nowhere directory, like the windows system directory. usually tech's don't look in most of those directories. or if you were really paranoid, you'd zip them all into archives and delete the real files. at least that's what i do. i'm pathetic that way. :moonie:

If I get those short porn clips, I'll watch them and delete them. The only porn I keep are full length movies that I end up burning to CD. (this is strictly at home, I don't go anywhere near porn at work)

Funny, I actually got fired in January from my last job for what was called violation of the zero tolerance policy regarding porn. I never surfed porn sites, but I saw all their evidence, and it was from OA.com. Yup, our former home was what got me fired all that time ago. Fuck Froy and all his porn.

Actually some companies are very strict, (example above) and it is so dangerous to do anything ban anymore.

tough break. At work I always used the /work link.

I currently don't have porn at work, mostly because I needed the HD space. I work for a construction company, so Porn is no worse than other fuckin around.

At home I keep stuff in a "work" directory, because I have a wifey & kids. Ironically the OA.com site screwed me also - I went there on weekend when the /work isn't on, and my wife gave me a really hard time about all of the various pics you'd see there, especially since my kids were around.

Here's another question- out of all of the porn you "hide", how much of it have you only seen once?
A lot of time I'll watch it and never put it on again - but I keep it on the HD for when I use Direct Connect :toast:

ftard, i know exactly what you went though...of course, it happened to me in august, not january...they fucking suck. all cause i was looking at wow's or the banners that were up all the time.

oh, and that same company now has anti-swear detectors or something on their email. if you send an email to them and it has a "questionable word" in it, it won't deliver the message to them.

For the truly paranoid.......

You could partition a hard drive as C: and Zfor example) and then use TweakUI to keep the second drive letter from appearing in My Computer etc.

You would access it by typing the drive letter in explorer.
