athlon 2500+ (soon to be OCed to 3200+)
512 pc3200 ram (soon to be 1 gb dual channel)
160 GB HD + 120 (from old pc)

Make sure you have a good heatsink+fan for the Athlon if you overclock it. When I OC'ed my Athlon 2500+, the temp went up by about 15 degrees.

I recently built my own as well:
Abit NF-7M Motherboard
Maxtor 120gig HDD SE
Pioneer DVR-106D DVD-Burner
Sony 52x CD-R
512 pc2700 DDR-RAM

The only problem I had when I built my system was that the stock Heatsink+Fan that came with the processor was not keeping the processor cool enough when I tried to OC it (you usually want to keep it around 42 degrees celcius).

Processor: Intel Pentium 4 3.0 Ghz with Hyper Threading (800 FSB)
Ram: 2 sticks of PC3200 512MB Dual Channel DDR running in Dual Channel mode
Hard Drive(s): Main: 160GB Sata 7200 RPM Seagate, Secondary: 120GB ATA 133 7200RPM Seagate
CDRW: 52X32X40 Cheap POS
DVD+/-RW: Sony DRU530A 8X
Sound Card: Sound Blaster Live Platinum (soon to be upgraded to Audigy 2 Platinum)
Motherboard: Intel 865GBF (Was thinking of upgrading, but it suits my needs)
Videocard: Geforce 4 FX 5600 (256MB DDR)

i am now overclocked to 3200+ speeds at stock voltage running at 42C at full load. this processor is amazing. 400 FSB no problem all for $90. JAck...how much was your processor?

Because of where I work, I got the board, processor, and a legal copy of Win XP Pro Full for 200 bucks.
