This is sorta fucking nuts. I mean, you'd expect these guys woulda stopped using this year, and maybe catch a dumbass or two. But, we're in the double digits in steroid positive players, imagine how many would have been caught back when the lights were out in Steroidville.

Appearing on Sports Bloggers Live, Baseball Prospectus columnist Will Carroll suggested that an American League outfielder from this season’s playoffs has tested positive for steroids…

For what it’s worth, Johnny Damon, Trot Nixon, Manny Ramirez, Garret Anderson, Steve Finley, Vladdy Guerrero, Hideki Matsui, Gary Sheffield, Bernie Williams, Aaron Rowand, Scott Podsednik and Jermaine Dye make up this season’s AL outfielders who played in the playoffs….

Lawton, acquired by the Yankees from the Chicago Cubs on Aug. 27 and then left off New York's postseason roster, became a free agent last Thursday. He would serve a 10-day suspension at the start of next season.
