can you donwload the vids from youtube?

Unlike some sites you can't actually download videos from youtube, there are some sweet clips I wanted to download so I can have them, incase the user deletes it or whatever.

I tried copy and pasting the video url but that didnt work, any help?

The way you can do it through firefox (and there is one for internet explorer) made my head hurt.

There was something interesting that I read, tho regarding Youtube: watch out because Youtube frequently changes it's site so you can't download... apparently they try to keep on top of the downloading issue of the videos and they change the format.
