I could never even dream of not having a car. I live in Suburbs, so it is necessary for me.

The office is 25-30 miles away. I just started listening to audio books. Radio pretty much sucks anymore

i haven't had a car since 1996, when i moved to Jackson Heights and worked in NYC. In my entire time in Queens, from 1996 to 2005, I really never needed a car...though it would have been nice on some weekends.

I still live only a 10 min walk from the LIRR, so don't need a car still. We have one car, hers, and will lease or buy another when and if I change jobs to work on LI as opposed to NYC. Right now, until then, there is no reason to have one

i really didn't like Jackson Heights...except for Indian row of restaurants....namely The Jackson Diner, which was an awesome and inexpensive Indian restaurant right outside the Roosevelt Avenue train station on 74th Street.

Kew Gardens was ten times better than Jackson Heights.
