Everything happens for a reason

I was in a department store a few weeks ago when I saw a manequin wearing a beuatiful leather jacket. I really wanted to try it on but I looked throughout the whole floor and couldn't find it. I asked 2 different salespeople if I could take it off the manequin just to try it on and they said no, an independent compnay designs our displays, we're not allowed to touch them, yadda yadda. I was like, what's the diff, you can't be selling it anymore anyway, you have none left, but they wouldn't budge. So when no one was looking I quickly took it off the doll and treid it on. As i suspected, it fit perfectly and I loved it, so I snuck off to another floor to pay for it.

I was so excited to enter the season when I could show off my stylin new jacket. But of course shortly after we started getting heavy rain for days and weeks. Hurricanes, floods, everyone thought Mother Nature had menopause. But I know the rains really happened to prevent me from wearing my unauthorized leather jacket. God is punishing me, like Eve with the forbidden apple.

I apologize to you all, this weather is completely mny fault.

No I just didn't want my nice new leather to be ruined by rain.

On the bright side, I was complaining at work how all of our umbrellas are HUGE, while they keep you really dry they're cumbersome to walk around with. Sure enough the next morning I found a small umbrella left behind on the subway. It's now mine and works lovely. Lovely as me!
