<li>Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf

<li>Abdullah - Graveyard Poetry Rock, metal, doom and one of the best rock singers out there!

<li>Grand Magus - s/t Has the singer from Spiritual Beggars, just some fucking no-holds-barred rock n roll. All killer, no filler.

Taking Back Sunday - Tell All Your Friends, poppy but really good band from LI

Coheed and Cambria - Second Stage Turbine Blade, this album is fantastic, its a concept album that tells a story from beginning to end and the singer has a really unique voice.

Finch - What it is to Burn, I've probably listened to this 100 times.

Embrace (Re-Mastered) - s/t, added 2 alternative tracks to the great 1987 album

i am so bad & so picky with what i listen to. i really can't think of anything that great that came out this year.

the best thing i bought this year was the queen of the damned soundtrack. but it's def. got its weak points.
