i'm about to do the nfc championship(14-2, kerry threw 30 picks but around 25 tds, tiki ran for 1,500 yards, though. and literally 18 defensive touchdowns), but i hate the new madden. i'm about to do my offseason in a bit, and usually, my draft was set, replace my worst lineman and then draft whoever still has a high round rating, but now, my team will improve mostly. nothing to draft...

i need some help with some stuff...
firstly, has anybody found out a way to renegotiate contracts so as to make more cap room? last year, you could release a guy and then resign him, but this year you still take a cap hit for that. i'm in cap hell...

secondly, is there a way to sign a coach to a contract extension in the season?
