Gollum should win an Oscar and here is why. The Actor did all of the scenes in "costume" (OK, silly blue suit with dots) and then went into the recording studio and did all of the lines again.

He put his heart and soul into the part and comes across as one of the most believable characters ever.

i saw it again last night in farmingdale with the stadium seating and crazy sound.

This is one movie where it is worth making the effort to see in a good theater.

the vcd/bootleg is OK for 2nd (& 3rd & 4th viewings), but it is worth seeing for real.

Oscar committees will have a hard time figuring out where to put this performance.

Golden Globes, the World's press lovefest, only gave this 2 nominations. Even though they were the 2 most important (Best Picture & Best Director), that is a joke.

this would make a fine addition to my movie collection (until the extended DVD version comes out in November) - I'll be looking for it this weekend.
