fresh green beans. right off the stem. raw, uncooked. Just a bowl of fresh grean beans.

Run those under a faucet; and I'm in heaven.

I know raw vegetables are supposed to be better to eat, but aside from a mixed salad I can't do it. At the very least, my vegetables need to be steamed.

when i was a kid we had a pretty good vegetable garden. i prefer most of the standard vegetables raw

i concur. i particularly love edamame with a little salt sprinkled on top.
