What I said was that the stock was halted. He could not trade it through any open market. I simply challenged him to explain how he could possibly have done so.

He refused to offer any explaination. The cursory explainations that he offered were contradictory and very vague.

Rational, normal humans will simply explain away a situation rather than hoping it will blow over.

Especially, as he and I have had animated debates in the past, if there was any chance of him exposing me as wrong or ignorant, he would have done so.

Yet he refused. He sat, never explained, hoped it would blow over.

yeah, the post is far from what i would call left wing. their title for all the convention coverage was "dems love in" or something like that, and everything was negative compared to the daily news coverage, which other than the occasional o'reilly editorial seems to me to be more left leaning than the post. but it's barely a step above a tabloid so i guess it's not really even worth discussing.
