ok... i got bored last night & came up with another version of a skin...

...this was my original skin design that i posted the other day...

...this is my latest skin design that i just finished this morning...

...and this was thrown together in a couple of minutes, just so i could get an idea on how the sub-forums might look using the 2nd skin... i know it's not that great...it's a cut & paste hack job at best... but, i just wanted to see how it might look... i have all the buttons, banner & bars saved as individual images, and i just kinda threw it together to see how it might look...

Yes it has 6 fingers, I added another finger because it looked too empty

And trust me, adding anything to the background makes you go insane looking at it. Elaborate backgrounds may look nice, but if you have to stare at them every day you start hating them.

Um... I'm not talking about the upper bar that says those things, I'm talking about the black text within the very dark background below that where it displays the specific number of topics and replies and who posted in which thread last. You have a white background to the left and dark background to the right.
