today i found out that a tornado - touched down in florida

it pissed me off because all the news was saying was it hit palm beach county/south florida. that's a very big area. i eventually found out that it was riviera beach which is a good hour away from where my parents live, but for a while i didn't know, and it was a little scary. so, why is the news so only local like, it sucks.


ok, i think i've hit my quota of new threads this month/year. i'm gonna stop now. anyway, i'm flying down there on monday so if you hear any vague news reports of crazy weather and/or problematic drunken english message board geeks, please worry about me, thank you :thumbs-up:

Tornados have actually touched down in NYC in the past few yrs, and a tornado ripped up a condo complex upstate back in 89.
