"Pretend salesperson" is fun too. You walk up to some poor confused shopper at some random store and say "Can I help you?" Then they go "where can I find such and such" and "do you have this in a smaller size" and you say "I'm sorry, I dont work here."

During this one year Christmas shopping in high school I did my shopping at the mall while I was playing "pretend deafmute." I carried a pad and pen and wrote my questions to the salesperson. That was an interesting experiment. People were very helpful.
