The wife of a guy in my office just died like 30 minutes ago during labor.

They were trying to induce her, and she had a siezure in the hospital. They still couldn't save her.

How can someone have problems IN the hospital, and still die?

It's sad, but happens all the time. You've got a better chance of dying from a doctor or hospital fuck up, then you do from getting shot.

she probably had a reaction to the inducing medication (i forgot what it is called). there is no way to tell if you are allergic to it.

I'm kinda with Mad on this one, I don't trust doctors or hospitals. Most of the time it seems like they're just doing guesswork when they're treating patients. The healthcare system in this country hasn't helped much, either.
