I don't get the hype,
I don't understand why so many jock sniffers are so far up his ass.
I think it has been since Emmitt Smiths first game played that I have heard so much praise and accolades put on a rookie....
he is a fucking rookie, and a Tight End to boot.
Can someone explain the hoopla to me?

1)It's NY and everything is hyped in NY.
2)He is the best TE they have had since bavaro.
3)There is not much else to hype on the Giants offense this season.
4)You wish you had him on the Redskins

4) TE is a low position of importance for an offense.

dayne is the biggest waste of space on the giants. he is useless.
as for shokey, first of all, he is a great tight end, going for over 10 yards on most of his pre season catches. secondly, he's huge and fast, so when collins gets intercepted twice a game, he can find and take down the guy. finally, the more you hype somebody, the more the other team tries to shut him down. he was double covered all night, leaving hilliard, barber, and tomer open more often than usual
