... I have Road Runner internet.... for the past two weeks now, the internet has been crapping out, with no data being sent to the modem... We've kept having to reset the modem to get the connection back... Now, this shit is happening on like an hourly basis. Any ideas on what this problem could be coming from?

you probably have it being split at aleast once somewhere. If not inside your home, then from outside somewhere. I thought mine was only being split once, which it was from inside, but it turned out that there were 3 more splits going on outside of my house.

call them up and have them do what QS said - when I moved here and had them install it, I pretty much demanded a separate line for the modem, and they gave it to me. The more splits you have, the more problems you're apt to have. Also, if any of your neighbors have it, try asking them how their service is - it could be that your modem is bad.
Either way, definitely get that separate line.

i have roadrunner and it works fine. sucks to be you.
I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.
That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you.

when i had roadrunner i had those problems, and they kept saying it was a bad line and stuff, so they were going to redo it. but just to be sure i guess, he tested the modem first, and that was the problem.
so it could just be the modem

sorry, that's what I get for trying to steal a gimmick (and for not using <a hrewf="http://www.iespell.com", target="_blank">IESpell</a>)
Jays, if they go out to you and give you a new modem, do not let them install that RoadRunner Medic bullshit on your machine - it'll slow down your machine as well as your download speeds.
