It would seem to be a cosmic joke,
If creatures could be made self aware.
all for naught.
I have never been able to believe in a god that cares.....
yet it would seem cruel,
for us to have 80 years on this earth, to hope, love, hate, suffer,
and just have it end when our time is done.
