The illusion that is message board etiquette - Yet another reminiscing thread, kind of

I used to post shit that I really liked to discuss/debate. These days, I don't do that as often because I think the posts will get lost in between maynard's lunch threads, and arpi's dinner threads, and ken's pen's polls. From where I sit, the message boards have become a lot more personal and frivolous(sp?), and a lot less informative and thought provoking.

The brother has a point. I enjoy the wacky stuff, but it gets old pretty quick if there isn't something that requires a little thought. I think you have changed as a poster, Kid, you seem much more prone to the pecking parties than to genuine debates. It is often quite entertaining, but it will get old unless we get deep every once in a while.
