No no Maynard, that's a clutchless manual. That's the kind of shit you see in Ferraris these days. F1 paddle-shifter style. Tiptronic is more like an auto than a manual. Just think of it as an easier way to shift instead of using the D-4-3-2 positions. Err, guess I should say D-3-2, I guess most people's autos only have 4 gears, I'm used to 5. :-D
