i just had strep throat for the first time ever a few weeks ago. if it feels like there's a sharp knife being twisted around in your throat and you are running a fever you might want to pop to the doctor. i found one that gave me free antibiotic samples due to my severe lack of insurance. however, if it's been more than a day or two, don't bother, your symptoms will subside just as quickly as if you were on said antibiotics, you'lll just be infectious for a couple of weeks. oh, and i htink if you're coughing you don't have strep. if you don't want to die, you don't have strep, probably for right now anyway. if you're walking around or sitting as still as possible, with a trashcan in hand for drool, you might have strep.
