There was actually one asian horror film I always wanted to see, I saw a clip of it on a documentary of horror films. They kept on oogling over how great the film was but ofcourse didn't mention the name, I tuned in too late to see the title.

There was this hot asian chick who was a completely psychotic murderer and it was apparently a well known film too, they refered to it as the most disturbing film they'd seen and this coming from people like george romero and wes craven. The torture scenes are supposed to be just amazing, I saw a clip of her slicing a dudes leg off and she was so giddy while she was doing it.

I really have no clue what the plotline was.
I found the name of the movie, it's called "Audition"

I went to amazon and fuckin figures its out of print and they're selling used copies at 100 bucks a piece.

I got the review from amazon.

Quote:If you want the full sledgehammer-to-the-stomach effect of Audition, stop reading this review now. Just watch it and take the consequences. At first glance, Takashi Miike's jack in the box of a movie works like a romantic comedy: amiable widower Shigeharu Aoyama (Ryo Ishibashi) decides it's time to find a new wife, and a friend suggests holding a fake audition to find the right girl. It soon becomes clear that there is something wrong with Aoyama's choice. This is no ordinary Fatal Attraction-style thriller, however; Audition slowly and carefully builds into a wrenching exploration of both deep male fears and the stereotype of the cute, submissive Japanese woman. Audition is by no means an easy movie to watch--even hardcore horror fans may have trouble--but it will stay with you for a long, long time. --Ali Davis
they talked about that movie on the 100 scariest movie moments. it was pretty high on the list. they didnt talk about it too in depth, but it looked pretty interesting.
I finally got to see that over the weekend when they showed them all back to back. I always wait with shows like that till they're done and then they do the whole block at once so I dont have to wait till the next day.

The list was pretty good for once a decent list, I dunno if I give jaws #1, i'd have gone with exorcist as #1.

I been lookin for Audition on torrents but no luck, no way i'm payin 100 bucks for it though.

Theres a place by me that sells bootleg asian horror flicks, i'll check there.
