I'm saying that's not hypocritical.
You can't quote me a line where he says that it's wrong for people to do what he did.
So he wanted segregation. A lot of people did. Hell, a lot of whites and blacks still want it (DIG). And one of the main reasons for why people were against forced segregation is that they felt the government shouldn't be able to tell private businesses who they should and should not be serving.
