It's like those silly legends you hear about that no one in their right mind could believe which sprout about years after the fact. I remember the one about Josh Gibson hitting a home run so far that during a different game the next day a ball fell from the air into the outfield... DUM DUM DUM!!!! It always starts off with "legend has it..." and then goes on to exaggerate human possibilities.
