The Bush/Cheney Testimony

Bush's perfomance at the elementary school photo op,
while our buildings burned and citizens died,
should preclude him from EVER holding any position of leadership again.

you know, this has always bothered me. Why did he not just cut the appearance off and get right to work an assesing the situation? Maybe I'm thinking too Hollywood, but most times when the shit hits the fan the President stops whatever he's doing to deal with it.
