No. I've got friends. I always go out both weekend nights. I've got a circle of friends of a few friends in NYC of about 2-3 guys and 5-6 girls but if they all died, I wouldn't really shed a tear, other than upon realizing my own mortality.
I've got friends in Boston and LA that I know from college and grad school that I keep in touch with, I like to hang out with them; nice people and all. But again, if they all disappeared from the face of the earth....ah, oh well.
If my family all died, it would suck, but I think it would bother me less than it should. My family gets along famously and there is never any conflict. I talk to every member of my family (both parents, two brothers, and a sister) at least semi-weekly (my sister a little less often)
I've never met a girl that I actually miss when I'm not with her. I just really don't care about other people.
