My high school advisor is probably in tears today. He loaned me his tattered copy of Curse of Lono back in the day when he saw me reading Hunter's bio. That book is out of print and hard to find.
Hunter was never meant to die in his sleep. If not by suicide, it would have involved some sort of fiery explosion. It's kind of fitting that he did himself in.
